Daddy/Daughter Date

Ellie Kate was so excited about her date with her Daddy.
Here she is sprinting to the car.

Buckled up and ready to go.

Eating and coloring at Cheeburger Cheeburger on College Street.

Then to Toomer's Corner for some strawberry ice cream in a "pinecone", as she says.

She cannot believe it...the Bo Jackson.

A little Samford Hall action in the background. Nice touch, Ross.

Hoisted onto Daddy's shoulders to sing the fight song, no doubt.

A-U-B-U-R-N!

As always, she fell asleep on the way home:)

"Don't do that to him."

That's what Ross said when I put some of EK's pajama pants on Emmett. But that's what happens when you have an older sister and mommy cannot find your pants.
Judging by that smile, I don't think he cared:)

Playing catch up

These were taken at my parents' home back in June. We were fortunate to have some beautiful weather and we took full advantage of it.

EK and Emmett on the Elmo splash pad. I would call this his happy face.

Emmett loves the water...

even when it sprays him right in the face.

Looks like Bunny was enjoying the show.

EK has been a little fish this summer.

"One, two, free...JUMP!"

Riding on Daddy-o's back.
Emmett is always amazed by his hands.
EK and Emmett sat outside the next morning with Pocca Doc.

Her 1st Movie

Last night, Ross and I decided that we would take EK to see her very first movie. She was terribly excited when I woke her up from her nap and told her about her surprise.

Mommy and EK at the movies.

Getting some snacks. She actually placed the order. Eating popcorn was another treat for EK.

Waiting for Ice Age 3 to start.

She seemed to have a pretty good time at her first movie. However, I do think that Ross and I had just as much fun watching her. The dinosaurs in the movie did scare her a little bit. She also said that the scrat characters should 'take turns'. She really listened when I told her that we had to be quiet in the theater. She even shooshed Ross before Ice Age 3 ever started. Our Little Prissy Mae is growing up. Can someone get me a tissue please?
